Desolation Valley – Coastal

We meet up on Thursday evening 7 December at Brandberg Restcamp in Uis. All paper work and final documentation will be completed. Departure at 09.00 on Friday morning from Brandberg Restcamp direction Twyfelfontein through Damaraland then into Aba Huab and then into Huab river to Sand Castles where first night wild camping will take place. Next day depart at 09.00 and drive to Desolation Valley down to Huab South bank, Klein Gai-as to Zebra Pass / Canyon. Second overnight wild camp. Sunday morning depart 08.00 and head back to Uis. Arrive at Uis around 12.00. End of trip. Total distance approximately 420 klm.

THURSDAY
16.00 Arrive at Brandberg Restcamp. Set up camp.
19.00 Final documentation. Rest of evening at leisure.

07.00 Final documentation for members arriving on Friday morning
08.00 Breakfast
08.30 Opening with scripture and prayer
08.45 Drivers briefing
09.00 Depart leg one of adventure
12.00 Lunch break
17.30 Make camp
19.00 Campfire chatter and supper (braai)

09.00 Depart on leg 2 of trip
